The client is seeking a VP Compliance to lead compliance efforts for life insurance operations. In this role, you will help ensure adherence to applicable regulatory requirements and support the organizations commitment to responsible, compliant business practices.
You will oversee compliance programs and associated risk management activities, including monitoring, policy and procedure guidance, and internal controls. You will typically collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify compliance issues, support remediation efforts, and promote a culture of compliance through effective communication and oversight.
The ideal candidate will have strong compliance leadership experience in the insurance or life insurance context and be able to apply regulatory knowledge to day-to-day decision-making. You will typically demonstrate the ability to manage compliance initiatives, coordinate internal reviews, and provide guidance that supports governance, accountability, and continuous improvement across the organization.
