Vijay is Managing Director of Cornerstone India, with offices in Mumbai, Bangalore and New Delhi. Vijay’s principal focus is to build Cornerstone International Group as a preferred provider of Executive Search and Advisory services in India. Vijay also serves as a consultant to boards and senior management in many industries. His consulting work includes Organization Study, Executive Evaluations, plus senior management & board level searches. Previous Experience Vijay started his career as a Management Trainee with Merck and his career advanced over next 15 years with stints in manufacturing, projects, corporate planning and consulting with MNCs (Merck, GSK) and Indian organizations (Alkem, ABC Consultants). His move to the recruiting industry in 1996 was a natural career transition. After working as Director/Partner in leading local & global search firms, Vijay wanted to explore his entrepreneurial aspirations. In 2004, he launched Cornerstone India as member of Cornerstone International Group . Vijay brings over 16 years of experience in executive recruiting. Additional Activities Vijay has an M.Pharm degree from UDCT, Mumbai and an MBA from the reputed JBIMS, Mumbai. He was a guest faculty member with TISS and several other Management institutes in India. Vijay comes with a unique perspective towards every situation. He is a keen explorer of life with interest in economic affairs. On weekends he enjoys catching up with reading & spending time with his family.
