The client, an established organization in the healthcare industry, is seeking a Vice President, Global Commercial and Portfolio Strategy Head to lead their Global Oncology Franchise. This transformative leader will be responsible for developing and executing commercial strategies, managing the portfolio, and leading global sales efforts for oncology products across key markets in Europe, the United States, China, and Asia. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to shape product profiles, drive launch excellence, and build key external relationships with stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will have 15+ years of commercial leadership experience in Oncology, with a strong track record of successfully leading new product pre-launch and global launch initiatives in Europe and/or the U.S. They should possess a deep understanding of the European market landscape and have the ability to work effectively in a complex, matrixed global organization. Strong strategic thinking, team leadership, and operational execution capabilities are essential, along with experience engaging with C-suite and board-level stakeholders. An advanced degree in business, medicine, or life sciences is preferred, and experience in both large pharma and biotech environments is a plus.
The salary for this position is estimated to be between $400,000 and $650,000, depending on qualifications, offering a global leadership and development opportunity.
