The ideal candidate will have a J.D. from an accredited law school, be licensed to practice in the U.S., and have 10-15 years of progressive legal experience with a strong foundation in corporate law and compliance.
Key qualifications for the General Counsel position include expertise in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, knowledge of employment law, ERISA, and benefit plan administration, experience with regulatory compliance, and managing HR professionals. Responsibilities will include leading legal strategy, compliance, and risk mitigation efforts, managing litigation matters, overseeing employee benefit plans, developing HR policies, and coordinating with local counsel and regulatory bodies in multiple jurisdictions.
