Trisha Sutrisno is a Managing Director at Koya Partners, part of Diversified Search Group. With more than 15 years of experience in nonprofit executive search, she specializes in executive searches for leading social justice and advocacy organizations nationwide. In this role, Sutrisno is responsible for all aspects of the executive search cycle, from candidate development to placing and onboarding top talent. She is based in Sarasota, Florida. A certified diversity recruiter, Sutrisno brings a strong focus on equity to her searches. Representative and recent clients include MoveOn, March for Our Lives, Legal Aid Society, and the Vera Institute of Justice. Of particular note, she has led 11 leadership searches for various ACLU affiliates across the country, including a number of affiliates based in the Deep South. Inspired by her search work and lived experience as a woman of color, Sutrisno is a committed organizer and activist for progressive political issues, specifically voting rights, racial justice, and gun violence prevention. She mobilizes funds and people through social media and online advocacy, with a strong focus on building civic action and dialogue among voters in swing states. Prior to her role at Koya Partners, Sutrisno spent six years on the executive search team at The Bridgespan Group, a nonprofit advisor and resource for mission-driven organizations and philanthropists.
