Todd Maher is a member of the firm’s Financial Services and Asset Management practices. With more than 20 years of investment management, investment banking and executive recruiting experience, he is focused on recruiting senior executives, investment professionals, and risk and compliance leaders throughout the financial services sector. Based in Spencer Stuart’s Boston office, Todd has partnered with a variety of client organizations across the United States as well as internationally, including institutional asset managers, wealth management firms, endowments and foundations, family offices, hedge funds, and private equity firms. Prior to joining Spencer Stuart, he was an equity analyst at Legg Mason. Earlier in his career, Todd worked as an investment banker at Alex Brown & Sons, where he executed financial advisory transactions and equity research for clients in the industrial and business services industries. Todd graduated with highest honors from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a B.Sc. in finance. He also holds an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
