With extensive experience in private equity and alternative investment management, Toby Higson partners with clients in the financial services sector across EMEA. He conducts senior assignments for investment professionals and capital raisers in private equity, venture capital, illiquid credit and real assets in developed and emerging markets. He also collaborates with management teams and bondholder groups to hire board level Executive and Non-Executive Directors. Many of his clients are new entrants diversifying by product or geography. A member of Spencer Stuart’s Financial Services and Private Equity practices, Toby is based in London. Deep insight in executive search and financial services Prior to joining Spencer Stuart, Toby worked for a boutique executive search firm where he focused on the asset management, investment banking and private equity sectors. Toby began his career working for a consulting firm in Madrid. Toby is a graduate of the University of Leeds, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish. He speaks English and Spanish.
