Tim Coughlin is a member of Spencer Stuart’s Financial Officer, Private Equity and Boards practices, based in the New York office. He focuses on chief financial officer and other senior-level finance assignments for a broad range of financial services, healthcare, manufacturing, media, technology and consumer products companies. Tim also works on various board assignments, recruiting financial executives to serve on audit committees. His clients include large multinationals, midcap, emerging growth and private equity-sponsored companies. Wide-ranging financial experience Prior to joining Spencer Stuart, Tim worked in the institutional equities division at Citigroup. During that time, his clients included many of the world’s largest mutual funds and hedge funds. Previously, Tim served in risk management with the Marsh & McLennan Companies, covering liability, insurance and other fiduciary issues for corporate clients across many industries. Tim earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in history from Colgate University and a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in finance from Boston College’s Carroll School of Management.
