Thorsten Amend-Schnaar completed his studies in economics at the University of Lüneburg and is certified as a business coach. He started his professional career in parallel to his studies, working in product management with an owner-managed company in Germany and Spain. After moving to an international corporate environment, he developed through positions in purchasing and product management to become the head of a business unit (profit center). The next step in his career led him to a medium-sized family company. As Chief Commercial Officer, Thorsten Amend-Schnaar was responsible for business development, sales, marketing, corporate and product development as well as finance and controlling. After further positions as VP Sales & Marketing and as CCO at international companies, his path led him to the executive and management consulting business. Since 2013 he has primarily supported medium-sized companies, family-owned companies, international corporations and municipal institutions in filling key positions, succession planning and the onboarding of new job holders. His focus is on management and executive positions as well as advisory & supervisory boards. As Advisor and coach, Thorsten Amend-Schnaar accompanies managing directors, executives and other individuals in phases of change and reorientation, in change processes, in reflection and decision-making as well as in conflict situations and burnout prevention. Thorsten Amend-Schnaar is married and has four children.
