The Barbara Ann Karmanos Cancer Institute (KCI) in Detroit is seeking top candidates for three leadership positions: Program Leader in Tumor Biology & Microenvironment, Program Leader in Molecular Therapeutics, and Department of Oncology Multidisciplinary Team Leader for Hematologic Malignancies. Our client is a unique, urban-based cancer center dedicated to research, patient care, and education, affiliated with Wayne State University. As an NCI comprehensive cancer center since 1978, our client operates in collaboration with WSU, conducting research across four major programs with $54 million in annual funding. The Institute is one of 18 NCI SEER sites and one of 47 NCI-designated comprehensive cancer centers in the US, providing cancer care delivery throughout McLaren Health Care in Michigan.
Our client is committed to preventing, detecting, and eradicating all forms of cancer through the efforts of over 1,800 staff, including nearly 300 physicians and researchers on faculty at Wayne State University.
