Tanner serves on Vanderbloemen’s search team, where he helps churches and Christian organizations identify leaders who are a strong fit in both calling and culture. Before joining Vanderbloemen, he spent eight years with Launch Global, focusing on finding and forming leaders to serve the global Church. Tanner first developed a passion for those who have never heard the gospel during his time at Texas A&M University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in business. During his years at Launch Global, Tanner led teams and partnered with churches to develop sustainable mission strategies. He loves sitting with leaders, asking good questions, and bringing clarity out of complexity. Tanner lives at the intersection of deep relationships and meaningful, analytical work, and he brings that blend to every search he helps lead. After growing up in the Dallas–Fort Worth area, Tanner now lives in Houston, Texas, with his wife and their three young children. They love spending time outside, going on family bike rides, playing sports, and investing in their local church and community. When they manage a brief reprieve from the beautiful chaos of toddlerhood, you can often find them exploring Houston’s diverse food scene and capping off the night with some high-quality ice cream.
