Her journey began in the pharmaceutical sector at AstraZeneca, where she excelled as a sales executive. She then transitioned into the banking industry, holding key roles at leading financial institutions, including Standard Bank, Investec Bank Ltd, and Nedbank. Takalane’s path to senior leadership accelerated with her appointment as General Manager at Nashua Mobile, followed by a pivotal role as Executive Head of Financial Services and Executive Head of Commercial Business Unit at Vodacom. She later took the helm as Managing Director at Servest, where she led diverse business operations with a strong focus on innovation and growth. She later served as the Managing Director and Country Head at Iron Mountain South Africa, bringing her extensive expertise in business leadership, operational excellence, and strategic transformation. In addition to her executive roles, she is a seasoned board member, contributing her insights to corporate governance and business strategy. She joined Search Partners International in 2023, as a shareholder and Consulting Director.
