Previously, Susanne served as vice president and managing director at GA&A for seven years, where she led strategic operations and conducted high-impact searches for K-12 and higher education leaders. Her leadership was instrumental during GA&A's acquisition by Kelly, steering the transition from founder leadership, and onboarding a new leadership team. Before joining GA&A, Susanne had a prominent career in K-12 education. As chief academic officer for Minneapolis Public Schools, she crafted academic priorities to enhance educational environments for 34,000 students. She also held significant roles in Bibb County Public Schools, including acting superintendent and deputy superintendent, where she spearheaded strategic planning and school redesign for improved student outcomes. Educationally, Susanne holds a B.S. from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls and an M.S. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, with additional coursework from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities. Her credentials include licenses as a district superintendent and school principal, and she has completed advanced leadership training at Harvard University. Certified as a professional executive coach, Susanne remains dedicated to developing future educational leaders. Susanne's influence extends beyond her direct roles. She served as board chair of the Child Care Resource and Referral Network (CCRR) and held leadership positions with various organizations, including international initiatives like the Global Action Youth Summer Camps.
