Steven McCord is a member of the Board & CEO Advisory Partners group. Based in London, he advises Chairmen, Chief Executives and Non-Executive Directors on their leadership needs, supporting businesses across sector and ownership structure. Steven brings particular expertise in advising clients in the industrial, consumer, technology and internet sectors, and partners with Boards of Directors in the UK, Europe and North America to help align their succession needs with their strategic ambitions. Steven joined Russell Reynolds Associates from the Board Practice of another leading search firm, where he conducted research on UK corporate governance and board composition. He started his career at the internet research company YouGov plc, before working as a Research Assistant to a former UK Government Cabinet Minister. He was selected as a member of the 2008 Washington-Ireland Program for Service and Leadership, where he worked at the United States Congress in Washington, DC. Steven holds an LLB Law degree from Newcastle University, an MA in politics from Queen’s University Belfast and an MRes in economic development from the University of London.
