Steve is a senior advisor and consultant to corporate boards and CEOs in corporate governance, leadership, and culture issues. Based in Houston, Steve has extensive experience carrying out CEO and executive team development programs, market benchmarking, as well as culture analysis. He works with a diverse range of companies around the world, including Fortune 500, mid-cap, and emerging growth firms, bringing a broad industry perspective, strategic insight, and rigorous candidate assessment. Steve is a senior member of the firm’s Board and CEO Advisory Partners team. He previously served as co-head of Strategy and Excellence on the senior leadership team and global Industrial and Natural Resources leader. Previously, Steve was the managing director at the Corporate Executive Board, a best practices consulting firm. There, he advised Fortune 500 companies in the energy and technology industries. He has also held roles at Enron Corporation and Koch Industries. Steve received his BA in political science from Emory University and his MBA from the University of Florida. Steve serves on the boards of the Greater Houston Partnership and Alley Theatre.
