As a senior leadership advisor to the social impact and education sector, Simon draws on his extensive subject matter expertise and market insight to advance its growth and impact. During his tenure at Russell Reynolds, Simon has co-led the Social Impact and Education Sector and established the Global Development, Advocacy, and Philanthropy Practice. He has partnered with clients across the globe, assisting them in identifying senior leaders and board members, with a particular focus on global public health, global development, and governance. Simon maintains longstanding relationships with leaders in public-private partnerships and policy organizations, providing counsel on leadership matters. Simon holds a BA in history from Trinity College Dublin and a DPhil in history from the University of Oxford. He has served as a post-doctoral scholar, tutor, and retained lecturer at several Oxford colleges. Additionally, he completed executive education in Leading Professional Service Firms at Harvard Business School. He is co-founder of the West Cork History Festival and a lay member of the Chapter of Southwark Cathedral. Simon also serves on several non-profit boards and offers strategic intelligence services to philanthropists and funders engaged in development work.
