Shayne Lightner is a Director in the Stanton Chase Los Angeles office with a focus on entertainment, media, and digital. Shayne brings over twenty years of unique creative and business experience to senior-level retained executive search and has been responsible for conducting CEO, COO, CFO, and executive-level search work for a wide range of companies globally. Shayne has been a Managing Director of Global Entertainment, Media, and Technology Practices for two of the largest search firms in the world, Korn/Ferry International and Russell Reynolds, and he has worked with clients that include Amazon, Mashable, NBC/Universal, Sony Pictures Entertainment, Playboy Enterprises, and The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, among many others. Shayne also served as Head of Executive Talent for idealab! in Pasadena, executing all CEO and senior-level recruiting for numerous start-up digital companies. He brings to executive search specific experience in a wide range of industries, including digital, general business, and education. Shayne has successfully conducted over 350+ senior level searches. As Director/Producer, Shayne most recently wrote, directed, and produced a detective comedy feature. Previously, Shayne wrote and directed a pilot, three documentaries, and various shorts and commercials. Shayne began his career at Kings Road Entertainment and was Director of Programming for Nostalgia Network, Inc., where he oversaw program acquisitions, creative development of original programs, and budget supervision.
