From modest beginnings, she has served as the principal architect of Stellar’s incredible growth story over the last 17 years, a journey that has seen the firm expand its footprint across four continents with offices located in New Delhi, Singapore and Nairobi. Shailja’s own professional forte lies in consulting for the Healthcare and Life-sciences industry, along with primary responsibility for all Consumer led engagements at Stellar. She personally spearheads general management and board level mandates, while actively counselling clients on talent acquisition and organization restructuring strategies. Shailja also advises aspiring entrepreneurs on business start-up strategy. An adrenalin junkie, Shailja is well known amongst friends and colleagues for her keen sense of adventure, one that has taken her to the remotest corners of the globe. From deep-sea diving off the coast off Lakshwadeep to high altitude skiing on the slopes of Gulmarg or chasing mavericks in Bali, she is always on the lookout for the next big challenge She is also an avid fitness enthusiast, a connoisseur of good food ranging from gourmet to popular street fare and is often heard conversing in several different languages.
