The client is seeking a Senior Vice President of Development for a nonprofit focused on helping children facing critical health challenges. Reporting to the CEO, this role will be responsible for leading all fundraising efforts to support the organization's mission. The SVP of Development will work closely with the senior leadership team to design and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy, cultivate major donors, and expand corporate and foundation support. This full-time position requires two in-office days per week and involves managing a development team.
Key responsibilities for the Senior VP of Development include identifying and cultivating relationships with potential donors, overseeing pipeline reports to drive growth, collaborating with local leaders on fundraising efforts, and executing various fundraising campaigns. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree, 10+ years of fundraising experience, and a track record of securing six-figure gifts. Strong communication, relationship-building, and strategic thinking skills are essential, along with experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite. The position offers a competitive salary range of $160,000 - $170,000 and a comprehensive benefits package.
