The client is seeking a Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs and Provost to serve as a senior academic leader and a key partner in advancing the organizations academic mission. The role is responsible for providing overall oversight of academic affairs, supporting institutional strategy, and ensuring academic programs are effectively developed, delivered, and continuously improved.
The Provost will typically lead and coordinate academic planning and academic policy, oversee academic operations, and guide efforts to strengthen academic quality and student outcomes. The role will also be expected to collaborate across campus stakeholders to promote academic excellence, support faculty and academic units, and help align academic initiatives with broader institutional goals.
Qualified candidates will typically have extensive leadership experience in higher education or academic administration, with demonstrated ability to manage complex academic priorities and support quality improvement. Strong judgment, strategic thinking, and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders are expected, along with a commitment to advancing academic programs and institutional effectiveness.
