Opportunity Details

Our client is seeking a Senior Vice Chancellor (SVC) for Academic and Workforce Programs to provide strategic leadership and vision for the system and its colleges. Reporting to the Chancellor, the SVC will oversee the alignment, integration, and coordination of academic, student, workforce, and research programs for over 230,000 learners annually. The SVC will be a key member of the Chancellor's Cabinet and will lead mission-driven initiatives to support the VCCS mission and strategic plan.

The SVC will have a large and complex portfolio of responsibilities, including leading strategic initiatives, integrating major divisions within the System, and bringing to life the State Board's vision for one system. Direct reports to the SVC will include the chief academic officer, chief workforce development officer, and chief student affairs officer, among others. The salary for this role is competitive, ranging from approximately $225,000 to $275,000, with a generous benefits package.
