Description

The client is seeking a SEND Case Officer for a 3-6 month interim contract in the Northwest. The role involves coordinating outcomes for children with Special Educational Needs, managing a caseload in accordance with EHC plans, and dealing with transfers from statements. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of SEN legislation, recent developments in the field, and experience in data analysis for improvement.

Responsibilities include contributing to the Assessment and Review Service, drafting plans and amendments, managing a case-load, co-producing with parents, and attending annual review meetings. The client has multiple vacancies within SEND across their Education Team and various Local Authorities nationwide. They encourage interested candidates to get in touch, as there may be other suitable roles available. Additionally, they offer a senior referral scheme for successful candidate placements.

This is a full-time position with hybrid working arrangements and a daily rate of up to 280. The client is looking for someone with experience in drafting plans, managing workflows, and contributing to the wider improvement agenda.
