Rod is a Principal in Acertitude’s Consumer & Industrial practice, where he delivers end-to-end search execution for private equity-backed and publicly traded companies. Partnering closely with firm leaders, Rod drives every stage of the search process - from developing research strategy and crafting compelling go-to-market narratives, to managing client relationships, mentoring junior consultants, and delivering best-in-class candidates. His expertise spans an array of senior-level roles across renewables, manufacturing, clean technology, and broader industrial sectors. Rod brings more than a decade of progressive recruiting experience, having most recently served as a Principal at True Search, where he was instrumental in scaling the firm’s climate tech and industrials verticals. There, he led multi-person search teams and acted as a trusted advisor to investors and executives, overseeing full-lifecycle search execution and complex offer negotiations. Rod began his career at Hobbs & Towne, where he advanced from intern to a key execution leader, developing a reputation for delivering with speed, accuracy, and integrity. Based in the greater Philadelphia area, Rod lives with his wife and newborn son. A lifelong baseball player and competitive golfer, he can often be found on the course or volunteering as a Little League umpire. He’s a regular on the Ocean City, NJ boardwalk and an avid traveler - his favorite trip so far being a multi-city adventure through Italy.
