Based in Frankfurt, Robert leads Russell Reynolds Associates’ Technology Practice in the EMEA region. Robert Kaemper leverages his own in-market CMO experience to conduct search assignments for customer-centric, go-to-market leadership roles. He also works closely with private equity firms to recruit senior technology leaders and board members to their portfolio companies. In addition, he leads the Technology Officers Practice in Germany (e.g., CTOs and product leaders). At Russell Reynolds Associates, Robert serves international clients in identifying, assessing, and advising top leadership teams to help mitigate succession risks and consulting them on organizational structures and challenges. Recent placements include the MD D/A/CH for a leading cloud company, a worldwide Chief Revenue Officer for a private-capital-backed software company, and an executive board member (CCO) in a European telecommunication company. Robert was previously the Chief Marketing Officer at Microsoft Germany, fully responsible for the go-to-market strategy and communications. He was also SVP Marketing Operations at Deutsche Telekom, for the German market. He received a German Diplom-Betriebswirt as well as a BA in international business administration from Groupe ESSEC, Paris. He is fluent in German, English, and French. Robert is also a certified systemic coach and change manager.
