Our client, the Austrian Health Insurance Fund (GK), is seeking a specialist in pathology and microbiology to join the Institute of Pathology and Microbiology at the Hanusch Hospital in Vienna. The role involves processing materials from around 80,000 patients, including histological findings, cytological examinations, and microbiological procedures. The ideal candidate will have completed training as a specialist in pathology and cytodiagnostics, possess strong teamwork skills, and have expertise in histopathology, cytology, and microbiology, including molecular pathological methods. Knowledge of laboratory information systems is also required.
