Chapman University in Orange County, California is seeking a dynamic and experienced leader to serve as the Dean of the Fowler School of Engineering. The Dean will oversee a team of 30 full-time faculty and 13 administrative staff, guiding the school through a period of growth and development. Responsibilities include focusing on ABET accreditation, faculty and staff hiring, student recruitment, academic and research program growth, and enhancing the school's national reputation. The ideal candidate will have a PhD in a related field, eligibility for the rank of Full Professor, strong interpersonal skills, and a commitment to student learning and development.

As the chief academic and administrative officer, the Dean will provide strategic vision and operational leadership for all aspects of the school's academic and scholarly program. They will work closely with a Senior Associate Dean, an Associate Dean and Chief Technology Officer, and Directors of various departments within the school. The successful candidate will be a collaborative leader with a strong record of scholarship and teaching, ready to lead the school into its next phase of growth.
