Patty Meagher Clare, a 20-year veteran in the retainer-based executive search field, and an affiliate partner with Major Executive Search. She is the Founder and Leader of PMClare & Associates, Inc. For most of her career, she has been a generalist covering a wide variety of functions and industries. Her practice has focused on recruiting exceptionally talented senior level managers who can make a positive, measurable difference to company performance within their first year on the job. Before starting her own company, Patty was a Principal with Spencer Stuart for six years, working on assignments both in the US and internationally. She was one of the founders of the wireless telecommunications practice, which was one of the fastest growing practices during her tenure. Before Spencer Stuart, she was a consultant with the Chicago office of Nordeman Grimm, a New York-based boutique firm. She began her career in the executive search field with Coopers & Lybrand’s executive search practice in Chicago. In addition to her search experience, Patty also spent one year with a large commercial real estate investment and development firm and two years with one of the top accounting firms, now known as Deloitte. Patty earned her BBA from St. Mary’s College of Notre Dame and her Master’s degree in Management (MBA) with a concentration in marketing and organizational behavior from the Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.
