Osama Mourad has 25 years of management and leadership experience in the banking and financial services sectors including commercial banking, investment banking, corporate finance, portfolio and fund management, securities brokerage, private equity, and direct investment. His experience is with leading local, regional, and multinational institutions. In addition to his profound knowledge of finance and banking, he has a well-established network across the region. As an opinion leader is a frequent guest on TV and at conferences. He is one of the pioneers of Corporate Governance in the region and provides his consultancy services to the World Bank’s private sector arm, the IFC. Osama served on boards of more than 20 institutions and currently chairs three companies. He graduated with High Honors from the Sadat Academy for Management Sciences and obtained his MBA in Finance from New York’s Pace University and is fluent in German and English besides his native Arabic.
