Nobuyuki Tsuji leads Spencer Stuart’s Japan business and is a member of the firm’s Industrial, Technology, Media & Telecommunications, Professional & IT Services and Board practices. He has more than 20 years of international business experience and more than 15 years of executive search experience. Wide-ranging global expertise Prior to joining Spencer Stuart, Nobuyuki was a partner and board director of a Japanese executive search firm, where he focused on Japanese family-owned and -operated companies. He specialized in senior executive and board searches in the industrial, technology, health care and professional services sectors. Nobuyuki also worked with McKinsey & Company in Japan for five years, serving clients in the industrial, technology and pharmaceutical industries. As a research and development engineer at Nippon Steel Corporation, he was involved in various projects related to carbon fiber composite materials and structures. Nobuyuki holds a Ph.D. in aeronautics and astronautics from Stanford University. He also earned an M.S. and B.S. in naval architecture from the University of Tokyo.
