Nikie is a Partner in Amrop's Amsterdam office and provides top executive search services to family businesses, industrial and retail companies and in the fields of hr, legal & compliance and general and operational management. He heads the Dutch Legal, Regulatory & Compliance practice and also specializes in organizational design and talent management solutions. Nikie is initiator and co-creator of the Legal Leadership and Business Program at the Nyenrode Business University. Nikie started his career in management consulting, supporting companies like KLM and NS in change and transformation projects. Subsequently, he worked at Unilever in international brand management positions. And in 2001 he joined Dutch law firm Loyens & Loeff as a lawyer, specializing in litigation, commercial contracting and employment law. In 2005 Nikie made his first successful steps in executive search as a senior consultant at Legal People, a leading Dutch executive search firms for senior legal, tax and compliance positions. And from 2007 to 2019 he was CEO of a family-owned metal alloy manufacturing, recycling and trading company. Before joining Amrop in 2020 he led a company wide reorganization at PE-owned, leading Dutch payroll company Brisker. Nikie holds Master's degrees in Private law and in Public and Company law from Utrecht University.
