A client is seeking a corporate associate to join its private equity and mergers and acquisitions group in New York City. The position requires at least three years of M&A and/or private equity transactional experience, ideally within the corporate department of a top-tier law firm, such as AmLaw 100/200 firms. Experience in representing financial sponsors and strategic buyers or sellers, specifically in leveraged buyouts, sell-side transactions, growth equity, and minority investments, is highly desired. Candidates must hold admission to the New York Bar.
This role involves working with complex transactions and representing high-profile clients in strategic matters. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to engage in various large-scale transactions and provide legal counsel on significant business deals. This position is based in New York, with no specific travel requirements noted, allowing the lawyer to focus on regional corporate matters and client interactions.
