Michel Hannas is amember of Spencer Stuart’s Technology, Media & Telecommunications and IT & Professional Services practices. Based in São Paulo, he leads the practice’s efforts in Brazil, bringing more than 30 years of executive and management consulting experience in the technology, media and telecommunications sectors to his work, with clients throughout Latin America, Europe and the U.S. He also leads the Legal, Compliance and Government Affairs Practice for Latin America. Combination ofconsulting and industry experience Michel recruits senior-level executives across a variety oftechnology sectors, including hardware and software, telecommunication operators and vendors, digital, internet, print and electronic mediacompanies. He is also the leader ofthe Professionaland IT ServicesPractice for Spencer Stuart in Latin America. He has conducted several board searches and board assessment projects for Brazilian and multinational companies and has solid experience in corporate governance. Before entering executivesearch consulting, Michel was a partner at Table Partners in Brazil, a boutique consulting firm specializing in strategy and leadership for various industries. Earlier, Michel worked with Booz Allen Hamilton, where he focused on thetechnologyandmediapractice. During his tenure with DiamondCluster, he supported mobile operators and other technologycompanies in Europeand Latin America. Michel has also held executiveroles for Motorola, Nokia Networks, Telemar/Oi and an internet provider start-up. Michel earned his bachelor’s degree in electronic engineering from the Instituto Tecnológico de Aeronáutica – ITA in São José dos Campos and M.B.A. from the Wharton School at the University ofPennsylvania. He is fluent in Portuguese, English and Spanish.
