About Mr. El Idrissi
After studiying at ESSEC Business School, Mehdi began his career in the manufacturing industry before joining the Moroccan Business Association as General Secretary in 2007, becoming Chief Executive the following year. In recognition of his contribution to shaping Morocco’s industrial strategy, he was awarded the Chevalier de l’Ordre du Mérite by His Majesty King Mohammed VI.
As CEO of Medi Business Jet, Mehdi successfully restructured the company, positioning it as the safest private jet operator in Morocco. From 2010 to 2015, he applied his expertise in competitive strategy to support SMEs across Africa and the Middle East.
In 2015, he joined ECI Group's affiliate in France as Partner for Africa and the Middle East, launching the firm’s Casablanca office. Today, based in Morocco, he serves as Managing Director of ALIDES, the country’s AESC-certified executive search and leadership advisory firm.
