Masakazu (Max) Tsumuraya has over 25 years of experience in executive search in Japan. He has worked for Exec Avenue Japan for over ten years and is one of the few recruitment consultants in Japan. Max recruits senior executives and members of the Executive Committee of technology-intensive companies, particularly in the information technology, telecommunications, networking, and semiconductor sectors. Before becoming an independent consultant in 1999, he worked with Korn/Ferry International-Japan as Vice President for eight years and with Booz, Allen & Hamilton – Japan, Inc. for six years. He began his career as a satellite engineer for Mitsubishi Electric Corporation. Max holds a Master of Science in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from Princeton University in the United States and a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Tokyo (he has fulfilled the requirements for his doctorate, except for his dissertation).
