Mary is Head of the Scotland Office, where she has spent nine years building a practice that spans the energy sector, family-owned businesses, and law firms across the UK. She supports boards and shareholders on succession planning, leadership transition, and the stewardship of long-term legacies, work she approaches with particular care at moments of generational change. Alongside her Scotland-based work, she advises law firms nationally on partner and functional C-suite appointments. She brings 15 years’ experience in executive search, having begun her career in London before moving into an in-house talent acquisition role in South East Asia, where she worked for a global automotive distributor representing brands including JCB, Ford and Jaguar Land Rover. It gave her a grounding in commercial reality and first-hand insight into leadership within complex, operational businesses that has stayed with her. Mary is motivated by work that connects mission, strategy and purpose, and by helping organisations make leadership decisions that will endure. She holds a degree in Russian and Spanish from Trinity College Dublin and is a Board Trustee of Switch the Play Foundation.
