Marta Fernández is member of the firm´s Global Banking, Insurance and Real Estate practices. She also works with organizations to appoint corporate functions such as CHRO, CFO, or Chief Legal Officers across industries. Based in Madrid, Marta leverages her background in business management and strategic consulting to bring deep insight and market knowledge to the Financial Services Sector at Russell Reynolds Associates. She partners with clients to recruit and assess top talent in management, senior financial, operational and board roles. Marta joined Russell Reynolds from another global recruitment firm, where she was a consultant in their FSI & banking industry practice. In this role, she worked with clients on recruiting banking and financial talent ranging from intermediate to managing director roles. Previously, Marta spent several years with Banesto/Banco Santander as a business manager, working on strategy, portfolio management and attracting new business. She began her career as an interactive media planner with Inteligencia YMedia. Marta holds a BA in business administration from the Universidad Autonoma de Madrid and has studied in Buenos Aires and Amsterdam. She speaks fluent English and Spanish.
