Based in London, Mariya works with energy, specialty chemicals, packaging and industrial companies of wide-ranging sizes and ownership models. She brings expertise in both senior general management positions as well as functional roles in commercial, finance, strategy and marketing. With deep understanding of transformational leadership, Mariya supports clients as they re-imagine their future talent base to remain relevant and thrive within a fast-evolving market. She is also a member of the global Sustainability Sector. Prior to joining Russell Reynolds Associates, Mariya worked at other global search firms, where she focused on senior appointments across large multinationals, private-equity backed and privately owned businesses within the consumer manufacturing and retail industries. She began her career at Ernst & Young. Mariya received her BA in business administration and economics from the American University in Bulgaria. She also holds a master’s degree in gender and international relations from the University of Bristol.
