Marie-Dominique Chapuis joined Progress Associés in January 2022 to reinforce the Consumer & Retail Practice, taking specific charge of developing the beauty, luxury and healthcare industries. Consumer & Retail Practice She brought her expertise in both Executive Search and Consulting services to help develop executive teams. Marie-Dominique boasts of over 25 years’ experience as an Executive in the mass consumption, pharmaceuticals and luxury industries. PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE She started out in the Marketing Department at Procter & Gamble (P&G) where she spent 10 years, working first with OTC pharmaceuticals, then beauty brands. She then moved on to L’Oréal where she joined the executive team setting up the international structure of the L’Oréal Paris brand. She directed the international marketing teams working in hair products, then oversaw teams in Latin America Zone for all beauty products. In addition to her promotion to the position of Director of International Development for the Vichy brand, she contributed to developing international business in the Active Cosmetics Division, especially in China and the US. Having turned this brand around, she ultimately took on the role of CEO France. More recently, as CEO of the Business Unit Pharmaceuticals France within the group Estée Lauder, she orchestrated an in-depth transformation of strategy and organization, introducing omni-channel marketing, helping to turn around the Darphin brand in France and launch the Clinique brand in the pharmaceuticals circuit.
