Marco Giusti is Spencer Stuart’s head ofLatinAmerica and strategic projects. He focuses on assignments for multinational and regional companies in a range ofindustrial sectors, including agricultural, construction and building materials, energy (both electricity and oil and gas), metals and mining and pulp and paper. He is also a member ofthe firm’s Board Practice and specializes in leadership development and CEO succession planning advising clients across the globe. Marco was previously the firm’s co-regional manager for EMEA and formerly led the global Industrial Practice and the São Paulo office. Extensive leadership advisory expertise with industrial focus Before joining Spencer Stuart, Marco was a senior consultant for nearly five years at another leading international search firm in São Paulo. He served as the firm’s regional industrial practice leader for Latin America and was a memberofthe global industrial leadership team. Previously, Marco was an Associate Principal with McKinsey & Company and served clients in metals and mining, pulp and paper, and agribusiness sectors over a period ofeight years. He conducted more than 40 projects focused onoperational efficiency, strategy and growth in Brazil, Mexico and Poland. Marco also led the creation offirm’s global agribusiness interest group. Marco began his career as a product and project engineer and industrial manager, serving electric materials and industrial automation companies in both Italy and Brazil. Marco holds an undergraduate degree in electronic engineering from USP (University of São Paulo) and a postgraduate MBA from Fundação Getulio Vargas. He is a native Portuguese speaker and also speaks fluent English and intermediate Italian.
