About Duval
Marc-André Duval focuses primarily on the infrastructure, aerospace and defense sectors. He brings to clients extensive experience advising executive teams and boards of directors on talent identification, assessment and development, gained in both Canadian and international contexts. With over 25 years of experience in human resources leadership, Marc-André is recognized for his ability to build and structure complex organizations, positioning talent and culture as key drivers of performance and growth. His expertise includes HR governance, leadership development, organizational transformation, labour relations, as well as occupational health and safety.
Prior to joining DÉCARIE TRANSEARCH, Marc-André served as Vice President, Talent and Culture at CDPQ Infra, where he was a key contributor to the creation of the organization. In this role, he led the structuring of the founding teams and the recruitment, in Québec and internationally, of specialized talent and capabilities that were not available locally and were required to design, build and commission Montréal’s most recent major public transit infrastructure project. This experience provides him with a deep understanding of the human challenges associated with large-scale infrastructure projects, from design through to operations. Previously, at Bombardier Aerospace, he played a key HR leadership role in supporting the development of the C Series program, a major aerospace engineering initiative, partnering closely with leadership in a highly complex technological environment. He also held human resources roles at CGI and Olymel, further strengthening his understanding of industrial, technological and operational environments.
Marc-André holds a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Relations from Université de Montréal and a Governance Certification from the Collège des administrateurs de sociétés at Université Laval. He is a member of the Ordre des conseillers en ressources humaines agréés and a member of the board of directors of the NPO Aux trois sentiers.
