Maleka is dedicated to identifying and recruiting the highest-caliber leaders for mission-driven organizations across the country. Maleka supports all aspects of the search process, focusing on project management, candidate development, and client engagement. Integral to all of her work is a passion and commitment to social impact. Prior to joining Koya Partners – a part of Diversified Search Group – Maleka served as Director of Program Operations for Teach For America, where she recruited aspiring school leaders, created programming, professional development, and networking opportunities for current corps members and alumni. Before that, Maleka was a middle school teacher in Nashville, TN. Maleka is based in Brooklyn, NY. She is actively involved with the non-profit Team For Kids, whose mission-driven programs help to build students’ motivation, confidence, and desire to be physically active for life.
