He has developed expertise in recruiting and succession planning for Chief Financial Officer positions across a wide range of industries, including public, private, and private equity-owned businesses. In addition, he works with clients on non-executive director assignments, with a particular focus on Audit Committee Chair appointments. Mads also specializes in placing senior executives in roles that report directly to the CFO, such as FP&A, treasury, investor relations, and in-house M&A. Mads is also an essential part of the Financial Services Sector, focusing on senior-level searches within the national and international financial industry, with a particular emphasis on Private Equity Funds. Before joining Russell Reynolds Associates, Mads worked as an engagement manager at a global executive search firm. He also gained substantial experience at Danske Bank, where he focused on management strategy and financial services. He played a pivotal role in organizational transformation initiatives, business banking, and marketing strategies. Mads began his career at Nykredit, a leading financial services firm in Denmark. Mads holds an MA in social science and human resource management from Copenhagen Business School, which further enhances his understanding of the intricacies of talent management and organizational dynamics.
