Lauren van Halderen is the joint Managing Director for the Sub Saharan Africa business where she is the lead Partner for the Board practice, based in Johannesburg. Her search experience includes senior executive and board roles within the Financial Services, Retail & Consumer, Manufacturing, Mining, Telecommunications and Public sectors. Over the years, Lauren has helped develop a significant Board and Financial Services Practice and has been responsible for senior appointments across Africa, Australia, North America and the United Kingdom. Lauren began her career at Odgers Berndtson assisting the former CEO in establishing the South African operation. Simultaneously, Lauren took on the role as Head of Research and later was instrumental in developing key client relationships within South Africa and abroad. Lauren joined Odgers Berndtson in 2004.
