About Ms. Anquetil

Katy joined Sheffield’s Wellington office in 2017 and is a highly respected leader and consultant with deep expertise in Talent Strategy, Talent Management, Executive Search, and Strategic Workforce Consulting. She brings over two decades of experience in the recruitment and workforce solutions industry, both within New Zealand and internationally. Business Experience As Executive Director, Katy partners with clients across the public, private, and not-for-profit sectors to identify and appoint senior leadership talent. Her work spans Chief Executive, executive leadership, and governance appointments, and she has led numerous board evaluations and Chief Executive review processes. Katy also provides strategic advisory services in areas such as succession planning, leadership and career coaching, capability development, and organisational design. Katy is recognised as a thought leader in recruitment and talent strategy, known for her ability to align workforce planning with business objectives. She has coached senior executives on leadership effectiveness, behavioural development, and the cultivation of high-performing teams and organisational cultures. Prior to joining Sheffield, Katy held the role of Director of Operations at ManpowerGroup, where she led the design and delivery of workforce solutions across diverse industries and geographies. Her international experience is extensive, having worked with globally renowned organisations including Amazon, Expedia, and Microsoft. In these roles, she contributed to strategic workforce planning, executive recruitment, and talent acquisition initiatives across North America, Europe, and the Asia-Pacific region, gaining a nuanced understanding of global talent markets and cross-cultural leadership dynamics. Outside of work, Katy enjoys spending time with her whānau and friends. At weekends, she is often found on the sidelines cheering on her two boys in their sporting pursuits.
