As one of three founding partners at JM Search, John Hildebrand has helped to set the strategic direction for the firm as it has grown to become one of the 20 largest retained executive search firms in North America. John has been dedicated to recruiting C-level executives for manufacturing, industrial services, and distribution businesses for over 30 years. Throughout his career, he has recruited executives for both publicly traded and privately held companies that range from entrepreneur-owned operations to global enterprises. For the past two decades, John has focused on partnering with private equity investors to recruit leadership for their portfolio companies. He has been pivotal in guiding the firm’s focus on serving the private equity community and has developed many of the firm’s enduring private equity relationships. Through his passion, diligence, and commitment to personally executing searches, John has built a core group of clients who trust him time and again to deliver the best possible executive talent for their companies. John graduated from Ohio Wesleyan University with a double major in Economics and Politics. He was also an All-American lacrosse player at OWU. He lives in Berwyn, PA, is married with four children, and enjoys spending time with his family. He devotes much of his free time to lacrosse, both coaching and watching his kids play.
