Jim McGlone leads the UK Financial Officers Practice at Russell Reynolds Associates. He specialises in advising clients on Chief Financial Officer appointments and succession planning for public and privately owned businesses, globally, across all industries. He is also a member of the firm's Board & CEO Advisory Group. Over the past decade, Jim has invested time in understanding the most impactful leadership trends in finance leaders of the future and how to support the development of the next generation of CFOs. He has a strong track record of assessing, developing and appointing senior direct reports to the CFO. He also has experience of leading searches to identify market leading talent in specialist areas including tax and treasury, investor relations and in-house M&A. In addition, he works with clients on non-executive director assignments, with a particular focus on Audit Committee Chair appointments. Jim is based in London. Jim joined Russell Reynolds Associates when The Zygos Partnership became part of the firm in 2017. During his tenure at Zygos, he focused primarily on financial officers and non-executive director appointments. Previously, Jim worked for a leading boutique executive search firm that specialised in senior-level corporate affairs and investor relations appointments. Jim holds an MA (Hons) in psychology from the University of Edinburgh.
