JH Baek is the Managing Partner at TRANSEARCH International Korea, specialising in Executive Search and consulting within the Consumer & Industry Division. He provides recruitment services to a broad range of domestic and international clients, including automotive OEMs, automotive retail groups, and high-end luxury brands. Before joining TRANSEARCH, JH gained valuable experience at GMC Company (Global Management Consulting), where he advised automotive brands on go-to-market strategies for the Korean market and consulted on management strategies and retail network structures. With over 30 years in the automotive sector, JH has held key leadership positions at renowned companies such as Kia Motors, Hyundai Motors, Ford Korea/PAG Korea, and Jaguar Land Rover Korea (JLRK). As CEO of JLRK, he achieved significant business growth, driving the company to revenues of up to $1 billion while expanding the retailer network and building a strong team. Active in his community, JH has served on the board of directors for the British Chamber of Commerce in Korea (BCCK), the Korea Automotive Importer & Distributors Association (KAIDA), and the Global Company CEO Association (GCCA). He also shares his expertise as an adjunct professor for CEO courses at Seogang University. JH holds an MBA from Korea University and has participated in International Residents Programs (IRP) at UCLA and Bocconi University in Milan.
