About Mr. Shi
Based in Shanghai, he is a key member of the firm's Chemicals, Materials, and Packaging Practice, and Energy Transition Practice. He specializes in executive searches and advisory services for both multinational and local companies, assisting his clients in identifying the most suitable leadership talent to drive business growth, facilitate transformation, manage succession planning, and navigate cultural challenges.
He works closely with globally renowned private equity firms, providing them with organizational solutions throughout the deal lifecycle, from pre-deal assessment to integration and portfolio management.
He is also a valued member of Russell Reynolds Associates’ global Operations and Supply Chain Practice, leveraging his extensive cross-functional management experience to advise best supply chain practice to his clients from Industry, Pharmaceutical, retail, and FMCG.
Before Joining Russell Reynolds, Jeremy worked for Celanese—a global producer of chemicals and specialty materials—where he held regional profit-and-loss leadership positions. In those roles, he worked on profit-and-loss management, sales team development, M&A, integration, project management, and strategic sourcing with diversified teams in APAC. He is well connected with Asian clients across the chemical value chain and specialty materials applications, including automobile, electrical and electronics, medical devices, and new energy. He began his M&A career at International Paper.
