Jenna Bayard is a consultant in Spencer Stuart’s global Retail, Apparel & Luxury Goods and Consumer practices, with more than 13 years of search experience. Based in New York, Jenna specializes in the retail, branded consumer products and luxury sectors, helping clients recruit board directors and senior executives across the merchandising, finance, marketing and operations functions. She also co-leads the firm’s global new-economy and emerging retail channel, which focuses on the disruption of traditional retail, and the increasing convergence of media and commerce. Retail, apparel and luxury goods talent expert Jenna joined Spencer Stuart in 2013, after eight years of prior executive search experience. Before joining Spencer Stuart, Jenna worked for a global executive search firm, working with clients to recruit senior finance leaders across a range of industries, including retail, consumer packaged goods, industrial, healthcare and technology. Earlier, Jenna was on the talent acquisition team at Urban Outfitters, where she focused on hiring talent for the Anthropologie, BHLDN and Urban Outfitters brands in merchandising, design, marketing and e-commerce. Jenna began her career as a business analyst in the financial officer practice of a different global executive search firm. Jenna earned her bachelor’s degree in biology from Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut.
