Jane Bird is Global Co-Leader of the Banking Sector with a focus on Consumer and Commercial Financial Services. She is a member of the firm’s Financial Services Sector leadership team. She has more than 20 years’ experience identifying, recruiting, and developing executives who serve on boards, and also a range of CEO and senior leadership appointments for retail and corporate banks, specialist and digital lenders. Based in London, Jane brings experience in succession planning and leadership development, helping clients align talent with their overall strategy and existing leadership teams. During her career, Jane has worked with everything from publicly traded firms to smaller companies looking for rapid growth in the UK and internationally. Before joining Russell Reynolds Associates, Jane was a partner at another leading search firm. In that role, she established a portfolio of clients in consumer and corporate banking and built a successful corporate officers’ practice. She began her career in executive search, working in the financial services practice of another global search firm. Jane received her BA in Philosophy from King’s College London.
